Tip-taps Sanitation Launched in Berea
“We would like to thank standard Lesotho Bank and red cross for donating tip-taps sanitation structures across the country to the tune of M480,000.00”, this was said by the Minister of Public Works Honourable Lebohang Monaheng during the launching ceremony in the Berea district. The event formed part of the cleaning campaign held in the Berea Urban Council on Friday, 09th September, 2020 as Lesotho marks its 54th Anniversary.

The Hounourable Minister and the Berea District Administrator (DA) Mr. Liteboho Tšola thanked and applauded all civil servants and the Red Cross Volunteers who came in their numbers to support the ‘Operation Hloekisa Lesotho Campaign’. The Minister indicated his pride to Lesotho citizens who designed and supplied the system and he pleaded with the DA and his team to take good care of the donation so that it can benefit Basotho.
In his closing remarks, the Honourable Monaheng reminded those present that Covid 19 is there and they should all practice save measures and share information as advised by the World health Organization and the Ministry of health.
The ‘Operation Hloekisa Lesotho Campaign’ was launched by the Right Honourable the Prime Minister Dr. Moeketsi Majoro on Friday 18th September, 2020 in Pitso Ground Maseru.
